Tiffany Pollard, an actress and reality TV contestant, was known by her nickname, "New York." This was given to her by Flavor Flav, when Tiffany was in VH1’s "Flavor of Love."

The final season of "I Love New York 2" had an emotional and dramatic moment when a contestant, "Tailor Made", whose real name was George Weisgerber, proposed to Tiffany. He was rejected. Tailor Made was not discouraged because he popped the question again in the "I Love New York 2" reunion special and Tiffany accepted his proposal.
